Bert Miripolsky translates his bold and painterly approach to a the medium of handmade looped tapestry using his signature Abstract Expressionist style.
The tapestry is signed in the bottom right corner. The back is lined in linen and features several hooks at the top for hanging.
Listed American artist Miripolsky studied painting at the Chicago Art Institute in the early 1940s and has exhibited throughout the world since 1945. His work portrays personal emotional experiences expressed through color and form reminiscent of works by Wassily Kandinsky, Franz Kline, and Mark Rothko.
