An intriguing black and white splat scene with a deep, gradient emerald background. Signed Honora Berg. Honora Berg was an abstract painter who moved from New York to San Francisco in 1951. She studied at the San Francisco Art Institute with David Park, Elmer Bischoff, and James Budd Dixon. Honora Berg was a friend of Edith Park Truesdell, (David Parks Aunt) and suggested Berg move to California to further her studies. Berg moved to California in 1951 to study under Park.
