This traditional Asian woman portrait lithograph features a subject wearing a high black hat on a green background. A red and blue rectangular piece of fabric is prominently displayed on the front of the headdress, adding a pop of colour to the otherwise black ensemble. The headdress is intricate and detailed, contrasting with the simplicity of the black outfit, which opens to reveal a lighter vest with ethnic patterns. The subject has a modest expression and gazes off to the side with slightly open eyes. The piece shows a red seal on the bottom right. It is illegibly signed unless you speak her language.
