Born in Yorkshire he spent his life in Cheshire, Anglesey, and Rutland. He was self-taught and his paintings are very distinctive and always full of strong, warm, and vibrant colors.

Well-drawn and realistic beach landscape by artist Stuart Ball. Using mostly primary colors in this beautiful landscape, the simplicity allows us to enter a dream-like state, planning our next vacation or getaway.
I admire how clean the lines are, and the motion of the blue sky.

"I paint landscapes using an impressionistic, sometimes witty and whimsical style, in a simple naïve almost childlike perspective. My paintings depict coastal towns, villages and market towns in the countryside, and industry in the north." -Stuart Ball.
