She was an American artist, born Geraldine Heib in 1912 and known by her male alias "Jerry O'Day" from a young age. She lived in the Sausalito area and was married to artist Dave Lemon.

Her work has been also exhibited in several museums, including the Hilbert Museum.
She passed away in 1986.
