Signed and dated 1965-1966.
Randall painted some kind of machinery with expressive colors and bold brushstrokes. Randall had a fascination with labor workers and work environments and often made the subject of his piece machinery seen in factories. Although semi-abstract, we can see this is a product he has seen in a factory.

Born in Tacoma, WA on Oct. 23, 1918. Randall was in Salem, OR during the 1930s. He created artworks while working as a cook, waiter, boxer, harvest hand, and other odd jobs. In 1942 he moved to San Francisco and, while shipping out with the Merchant Marine, continued to paint. From 1955-57 he was in Montreal while he painted a mural in the Young Men's and Women's Hebrew Ass'n. In 1959 he opened an art gallery in Mendocino, CA with his wife, Emmy Lou Packard, and in 1970 continued the operation in Tomales Bay, CA. He died in San Francisco, CA on Aug. 11, 1999.
